Apple could introduce a notable camera difference between the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, according to recent leaks. Both phones are expected to share the upcoming A20 Pro chipset, larger batteries and several camera upgrades, but one feature may be exclusive to the larger model.
Variable-Aperture Camera For iPhone 18 Pro Max
Tipster Ice Universe has claimed that Apple could reserve a variable-aperture main camera for the iPhone 18 Pro Max, while the standard iPhone 18 Pro may not receive the feature.
If accurate, the camera system could become one of the key hardware differences between the two models, alongside the usual variations in display size and battery capacity.

Why The Smaller Pro May Miss Out
The reported difference could be linked to space constraints. A variable-aperture camera system may require additional room inside the device, which the larger Pro Max chassis could potentially accommodate more easily.
