Bayley took on referee duties at Big Time Wrestling’s 30th anniversary show, and she got involved in a championship match featuring her ex-fiancé, Aaron Solo, and his opponent Chazz “Starboy” Hall. Solo, who wrestles for AEW, was defending the BTW Championship when the original referee got hurt. Bayley stepped in and counted the pin, so Hall walked away with the title. Hall later shared his reaction on X, admitting he thought he was hallucinating after winning the championship and playing air guitar with the former WWE Women’s Champion. Quite a night for the WWE ID prospect.

Chazz Hall Reacts to Winning the BTW Championship With Bayley Present

Hall had plenty to celebrate after his title win, but getting an air-guitar moment with Bayley clearly caught him off guard. He reacted to a fan-recorded clip from the event on X, writing:

“I thought I was hallucinating. Won the BTW championship and played air guitar with Bayley! #newchamp @btwbayarea”

The match was part of Big Time Wrestling’s 30th anniversary event, where Solo was scheduled to defend his championship against Hall. Then the referee got injured, and Bayley became part of the action by taking over the count for the finish.

Hall is a WWE ID prospect, while Solo remains signed to AEW and still wrestles on the independent circuit. Bayley also came back to the independent promotion for the anniversary show.

Bayley and Aaron Solo Called Off Their Engagement in 2021

Bayley and Solo announced their engagement in 2016, when Bayley was still a newcomer on WWE’s main roster. Their relationship started years earlier, because the two first met in 2010. They stayed engaged for nearly five years before calling it off in February 2021.

Solo has a history with WWE too, having made a one-time appearance in NXT in 2015. He faced Tyler Breeze in that run, and later he signed with AEW. His wrestling career began at Big Time Wrestling, the same independent promotion where Bayley returned for its anniversary event.

Bayley’s WWE status got attention in recent months. She was absent from programming after losing to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event in July, which led to speculation about a possible move to AEW. She returned to RAW in September after nearly two months away. Stay tuned for more updates.
