Iran has responded to India’s request for the safe evacuation of Indian students suck in Iranian cities as Israel continued its bombing of targets in the Islamic republic. Tehran said that though the airspace is closed over Iran, all land borders are open for the safe evacuation of civilians.
Thousands of Indians are stuck in various Iranian cities and are demanding that Tehran and Jerusalem declare a pause in fighting so that the Indian government can evacuate them through the airports.
The Embassy of India in Tehran on Sunday issued a fresh list of emergency numbers and started a Telegram group to help Indians scattered across Iran to connect with the Indian authorities, and urged everyone to register with travel documents so that their safety could be ensured.
