US President Donald Trump – in a post in Truth Social — has announced that India and the US have “agreed to a Trade Deal… whereby the United States will charge a reduced Reciprocal Tariff, lowering it from 25% to 18%”. The two leaders have spoken this morning and while the details were not initially disclosed, US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor has said in a post on X to “Stay tuned”.
