Former JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna was convicted by a special court in Bengaluru in a sexual abuse and rape case on Friday. The special court for MPs/MLAs in Bengaluru said it will announce the quantum of punishment against Revanna on Saturday.
The court on July 30 deferred the judgment, citing the need for certain clarifications.
Revanna was arrested last year and has been in jail for 14 months.
