Commonwealth Games 2026 Day 5, Live Updates: India’s medal tally at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026 is up to six, with two more weightlifting medals secured on Day 5. Gyaneshwari Yadav won silver in the women’s 53kg weightlifting final, while Bindyarani Devi clinched bronze in the women’s 58kg final. Six Indians are in action, hunting for a medal. Tejaswin Shankar, Sarvesh Anil Kushare and J Aadarsh Ram are participating in the men’s high jump final, while Sharmila Dhankar and Shilpa K Shyla are competing in the women’s shot put F57 final. V Ajaya Babu is also in action in the men’s 79kg weightlifting event. Several other stars, including 110m hurdles national record holder Tejas Shirse, will be in action later in the night.
