Taylor Swift made a point of finding Donna Kelce before the Kansas City Chiefs faced the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 18. Swift, 36, hugged her mother-in-law in the suite, then settled in to watch husband Travis Kelce play. Photos from the box show the 14-time Grammy winner beaming as she opened her arms to Donna, 74. Caitlin Clark and singer Este Haim sat with them. It was the Chiefs’ first game since their Week 5 bye, and Swift arrived a day after she walked the red carpet in Los Angeles.

The moment came inside the suite. Swift spotted Donna and greeted her with open arms. The photos show her smiling as the two shared a warm embrace.
Their outfits matched the mood. Swift wore a long-sleeve red turtleneck bodysuit, gold nail polish and her usual red lipstick. Donna chose a black studded denim jacket with a large “KC” logo across the back. Both leaned hard into Chiefs colors.
Swift and Travis married on July 3 in New York City, so this was another game day spent with the Kelce family. She watched him face the Chargers from her signature suite, with Clark and Haim sharing the view.
Tailgate and gala filled the Travis Kelce weekend
Outside the stadium, the family had started early. Donna and her ex-husband, Ed Kelce, pre-gamed at a special tailgate with their eldest son, Jason, and a crowd of fans. Jason, 38, is a retired Philadelphia Eagles center. The event began at 11 a.m. local time in Lot M at the Truman Sports Complex.
Jason announced it on the Oct. 7 episode of New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with his brother. The show’s X account posted clips of him working the crowd. In one, a fan threw a basketball into a hoop from far away and Jason cheered. “Jason is here and ready to tailgate with the 92%ers,” the account captioned another clip.
Swift came in off a busy Saturday. On Oct. 17 she attended the sixth annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, where she wore a custom Dior gown by Jonathan Anderson.
Travis has had a full October too. He attended Game 5 of the Cleveland Guardians’ American League Division Series matchup with the Chicago White Sox on Oct. 10. The Ohio native bought a minority stake in the club in May and cheered from Progressive Field. He turned 37 earlier this month, and he and Swift spent several date nights in Manhattan.
